Qian Leng

Qian (pronounced Chee-an) began her yoga teaching journey 15 years ago when she completed her first teacher training with renowned hatha yoga teacher Ana Forrest while she was still a medical student. Since then she has done over 800 additional hours of training in various modalities, including the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy course, Catherine Allen's Poppy Perinatal Yoga training, Dr. Sarah Duvall's Postpartum Corrective Exercise course, and Wendy Foster's Mamalates postnatal Pilates training. Qian specializes in exercise for pregnancy and postpartum. She is passionate about helping expecting and new parents feel strong, confident, and knowledgeable. She uses a gentle yet highly effective approach to healing pelvic floor issues and diastasis recti (abdominal muscle separation). Qian also loves Latin dance, hiking, baking, audio books, and self-massage. When she's not teaching yoga, you can find her practicing primary care at Providence Portland or teaching to medical students at OHSU and Western University of Health Sciences.
